Undergraduate Talent Attraction Program

Objective

The programme offers undergraduate students from national or international universities the opportunity to take part in research projects and activities, led by research staff at the University of Granada, during the summer months. The programme will enhance students’ scientific knowledge whilst providing them with valuable intercultural experience, which will be fundamental to their personal and professional development.

The programme will run for four weeks (July 2026), during which students will actively participate in research life within the University of Granada’s laboratories, centres and research groups, collaborating on research projects under the supervision of the principal investigators.

Scholarship conditions

A maximum of 25 scholarships will be awarded.
The scholarship will cover accommodation and living expenses in University of Granada halls of residence (or, if the programme takes place in Ceuta or Melilla, an equivalent financial allowance).
The placement period will be during the month of July 2026. During this time, students must participate in laboratory or team meetings, seminars and other research activities organised as part of the programme.
By 31 July 2026, the recipient must submit a report on their research work to the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Transfer.

Requirements

Students from OUTSIDE the University of Granada who have completed at least 50% of the total credits in their undergraduate degree programme are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
The research project must be supervised by a PhD holder affiliated with the University of Granada and attached to a department or research institute. The research supervisor must have received at least a positive evaluation of their research activity from the CNEAI. Exceptionally, in cases where this is not possible due to their academic status, the research supervisor must demonstrate equivalent merits to the Research Committee.
