Training HRS4R UGR

The University of Granada maintains a firm commitment to the continuous professional development of its staff, especially within the framework of the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R). A fundamental pillar of this commitment is the implementation of the Open, Transparent, and Merit-based Recruitment (OTM-R) Policy, for which UGR organizes specific training sessions aimed at its staff. Furthermore, the institution strives to provide clear and accessible information regarding various professional development opportunities and career prospects available, encompassing both academic and non-academic alternatives. For more information, please visit the Employment and Internships Center (Centro de Empleo y Prácticas-UGR)

As part of its dissemination and awareness-raising actions for the HRS4R accreditation, UGR successfully conducted a comprehensive online training seminar series during 2025, which concluded in July of this year. These sessions primarily aimed to familiarize both research staff (PDI) and technical, administrative, and services staff (PTGAS) with best practices in research management and UGR's initiatives within this area.

The seminars covered key topics such as the objectives of the HRS4R accreditation, the application of OTM-R principles, leadership and team management, and Open Science requirements. UGR is committed to repeating these types of training cycles in upcoming years to ensure continuous dissemination and understanding of the HRS4R strategy across the entire university community.
