Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R)

The HRS4R strategy (HR Strategy for Research) is a tool launched by the European Commission to support universities and research institutions and research funding organizations in the implementation of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, which aim to contribute to the development of an attractive European labor market for researchers.

The HR Excellence in Research award gives public recognition to research institutions that have made progress in aligning their human resources policies with the principles defined in the “Charter&Code”.

The University of Granada obtained the "HR Excellence in Research Award" label on May 31, 2017, reaffirming its commitment to the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R).

This award not only supports our proposals to secure international funding and attract talent, but also strengthens our international profile and demonstrates our dedication to creating a favorable working environment for our research staff. We are currently in the third phase of the HRS4R strategy implementation process, working on a renewal for to ensure the continuity of the seal through the development of an improved and updated strategy and Action Plan.
